The main entrance to the town is characterized by the presence of the old public hospital, today special outpatients, constituted by an old structure dating back to the 14th century. It was built by an unarmed militia which lived in Offida and took care of employing donations in favour of the needy. In front of the hospital there is the war memorial inaugurated in 1923 on which the names of local people fallen from the war in Libya to the II World War are listed.
