The Icon Museum is housed in the eighteenth-century Palazzo De Scrilli, located in the historic center. There are works of art collected over the past few decades and donated to the citizenship by Mons. Vincenzo Catani, a native of the place and now parish priest in San Benedetto del Tronto. On the three floors of the building will feature works of different artistic nature: In the hall on the first floor has ordered a lapidary. The second floor has been placed the museum of sacred art, divided into various sections of the jewelery and silver, paintings, wood and eighteenth century sacristy. Significant section of about two hundred papal medals. On the third floor you can admire an exhibition of 80 original icons, coming mostly from Eastern Europe and exhibited according to a logical order of presentation. You enter an unreal scenery of colors and images in a fascinating world virtually unknown to us.

From 1 July to 15 September: 18.00 to 20.00 hours (closed on Mondays and August). In the days of “Templar” (four days after the mid-August): from 18.00 to 23.00 hours Christmas season: from December 26 to 6 gennai hours from 16.00 to 19.00 (closed on New Year’s). Easter season: from Holy Thursday to Easter Tuesday: from 16.00 to 19.00 hours (closed on Easter).
