Established in 1998 to display the precious local craft, the bobbin lace museum also houses articles from private collections which are regularly replaced to give a full view of local production. The bobbin lace exhibition showing the worthiest products of local bobbin lacers, has been held here for many years. Through the various rooms it is possible to admire both ancient and modern works most dating back to the end of 1800 and beginning of 1900 which show all the processing techniques. The most important piece is a dress made by local bobbin lacers based on the design by stylist Antonio Berardi and worn by model Naomi Campbell during a fashion parade in London in 1997. Even if the production on displays can slightly vary according to time and to the available works, the museum comprises 5 rooms and a small homely chapel used by the owners of the building.
