Museo di Arte Sacra

In the church of fourteenth-century structure that houses the splendid fresco of the “Last Judgement”, the Museum of Sacred Art houses many relics; between them stands the wonderful architectural relic in copper and silver gilt, enamel and filigree, the XV-XVI centuries, the workshop of Peter Ascoli Vannini. The work includes a reliquary in the oldest relic of the Holy Cross donated in 1289 by Pope Nicholas IV Ascoli to the convent of the Friars Minor of Castignano.
