The Church of Santa Maria in Portella or Santa Maria delle Grazie is small Romanesque gem and pre-Renaissance still standing thanks to the many works of restoration. In 1997 they have brought to light numerous frescoes covered with plaster for more than a century. Among the frescoes it is worth mentioning one depicting Mary Magdalene, the oldest dating from the late fourteenth century. Another precious ornament was the Madonna and Child wooden work of folk art of the fifteenth century preserved today in the Diocesan Museum of Ascoli Piceno.
