Chiesa di San Salvatore

The Church of the Holy Saviour, is located in the hamlet of Lago in Comunanza, surrounded by vegetation. It ‘a wonderful example of medieval religious architecture rural hinterland Ascoli. The Church today, which already existed in 1290, was built on the remains of an older building of which remains a part of the wall, on which is portrayed the image of the Savior holding the cruciferous globe, repainted several times but that preserves yet the traits of early medieval paintings.
