Chiesa di San Pietro

The Church of St. Peter, is located in the village of Chalk in Comunanza. Historical sources state that the church was already in existence in 1381 and which has since been rebuilt several times. Than today dates back to 1960. With some furnace, mainly the country of it in the neck and “bigattiere” (cultivation of silkworms), in the sixteenth century it was under the rule of the Duke of Atri Attilius Aloysius, but also suffered the fate of the countries infested brigands.
