Close to Piazza XX Settembre, among many other streets, there is one who beat a particular record: it is the narrowest alley in Italy. the primacy of the alley is so narrow that has no name: it’s just a passage, a crossing, yet it is considered dead because it has the necessary requirements such as overlooking of doors, windows and practicability. Mouth measuring 43 cm, while in the middle, because the alley is irregularly shaped, narrows to 38 cm. This strange record does not fight so easily because to succeed the dead must meet certain requirements on the type of flooring, on the distance covered, the presence of doors and adjacent windows. The nearby tourist office issues a “certificate” crossing the alley.
